OUR CLIENT is the leading UK independent bottler of wines and spirits, specialising in producing quality own-label wines to the UK Multiple and Convenience Retail Sectors. THE ROLE:

The Blending Manager will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of liquids to the Production department, to meet the bottling program. The Blending Manager will be ultimately responsible for ensuring all products are received and processed in accordance with quality specifications using the most efficient and cost-effective methods.

The Blending team is a newly created team and the Blending Manager will be directly responsible for 3 Blending Technicians working on a 3-shift rotation. As a team you will contribute to the ongoing operational and strategic objectives for the department by the identification, assessment, and recommendation of continuous improvements in the process area.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Five years Blending Management experience within a food manufacturing process environment
  • Experience of modern manufacturing techniques and the implementation of systems and procedures for improved performance
  • Qualified in Management to ILM Level 3 or equivalent
  • Ideally you will possess a relevant degree or equivalent in a related subject
  • FLT license would be an advantage
  • Excellent IT skills including hands on understanding of SAP would be an advantage
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
