THE BUSINESS

Is the leading UK independent bottler of wines and spirits, specialising in producing quality own-label wines to the UK Multiple and Convenience Retail Sectors.

THE ROLE

  • Managing the day-to-day business of specified Category Accounts, ensuring timely issue resolution and soliciting new business volume, where appropriate.
  • Assuming commercial responsibility for all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, sales, pricing, profitability, administration, and accurate reporting
  • Developing relationships within the existing account base to include commercial, procurement, suppliers, and supply chain
  • Mentoring, supporting, and developing your direct report (Account Manager) including conducting regular reviews, appraisals and developing a collaborative personal development plan.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to develop new accounts, by managing external business enquiries, and identifying and approaching potential partners

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will have significant Account Management experience, gravitas, a strong background in the delivery of specific business development projects and the ability to energise your team and ensure successful outcomes. On top of this you will need:

  • A strong background in a sales, or customer-based environment
  • Experience of managing people.
  • Project management experience (Prince 2 knowledge would be an advantage)
  • Previous wines & spirits experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven team player
